Badly in need of some grace today
I long to be soaring high above the darkened clouds of my daily thoughts. Looking down on all my worries and frustrations knowing they can't touch me. When I do soar, I peek out the window only to see them sitting casually on the wing tips. Riding high with me. I can't seem to fly high enough some days to rid them of their oxygen supply. I give the craft a good jolt praying that the turbulence has knocked them off. No such hope, so I become foolish enough to make those worries and frustrations my travelling companions.
